We are made of stardust, and we are so much more than just dust!

“This accidental
meeting of possibilities
calls itself I.

I asks: what am I doing here?
And, at once, this I
becomes unreal.”

― Dag HammarskjöldMarkings

We are stardust…. I know because Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young told me so 45 years ago. By now we should all know it, no surprises there! We are stardust, but are we nothing more than the confluence of dust particles? Majestically created in the dissolution of a star the material of our physical bodies has a great, uplifting astronomical and geological history.

But what about this spirit that congeals and animates this vehicle made of stardust?

This ancient stardust was swirled together by the intention of an energy, an energy I can only call a Divine Will. You may believe it was God, maybe it was….It’s the energy that swept the dust into a pile and created these bodies, that’s who AND WHAT WE REALLY ARE, not the mere stardust dust of this universe but the divine spark of the infinite creator! Perhaps you have come to learn that it was your own divine will, the Self that swirled the dust of this world together to form these vehicles. If you do then you and I see the world much the same.

Philosophers and scientists (and many others) have conjectured that there is a Divine Pattern. The Divine Pattern is the spirit frame around which our bodies and psyches are formed. The Divine Pattern is the Self, the soul.

The divine pattern, that is the great mystery, where does it come from? How did it get here? How was it created? Who made it and why? By what principle does it work? How did it create these bodies of ancient stardust?

What do these questions mean? Are we made in the image of God? Is this energy pattern itself God?

“God moved upon the waters” …..hey isn’t our body made of mostly water? God moved upon the water…and took the water and formed it into, bodies? Bodies that become colonies of cells….did you ever stop to think that most of your body isn’t made of you? It’s made up of a congregation of cellular sub-colonies that have found that working together they can survive more efficiently. Like a symbiotic city. This vehicle you call your body is like a city made up of communities of colonies with citizens that aren’t actually you.

So what are you? Do you even exist?

If you are convinced that you are your body then you may have a difficult time explaining what or who you are. Our cellular makeup changes and is changeable. Infected by bacteria that can be changed by changing our diet or even our attitudes. Our body changes with our attitude by the power of magnetism. We magnetize anything that is like us, that vibrates as we are vibrating. Over time (it takes time because of the density of the vibrational speed available to us in this physical body) we magnetize things like us we become more ourselves…even though the bacteria that make up much of the body, the nutrients of our food, the substances we absorb into ourselves that become “us” aren’t really us….but something added to us.

So to what are they attracted? What pulls the stardust together?

Are we, at our center, a divine, vibrational pattern?

What else can we be?
